The Kapitol Klowns have been invited back to the Special Love Holiday Party on Sunday, December 8, 2013. Many of us have volunteered at their event in the past and hopefully, we will have another great group of clowns this year. Special Love Is a nonprofit organization that provides cancer families a network of support. Their annual holiday party is for the children who attended their Camp Fantastic and their immediate families.

The Kapitol Klowns will be doing balloons, face painting, and other entertainment at the party for kids with cancer. In the past, we were allowed to eat lunch (Turkey and all the holiday fixings) before the event.

From Points North, Northwest, Northeast of DC:
Take the 495 beltway south to I-95 South toward Richmond
Take first set of exits, get on 644 East/Franconia Road
Take Franconia Road east approx. 2 miles to Beulah Street
Turn right on Beulah, fire house is one block on right – park in rear

From Points South, Southwest, Southeast of DC:
Take I-95 North to last exit before 495 beltway (Rt. 644/Franconia Rd)
Take 644 East/Franconia Rd exit, bear right on Franconia Rd
Take Franconia Road east approx. 2 miles to Beulah Street
Turn right on Beulah, fire house is one block on right – park in rear
